“Effective August 29, 2025, the United States has suspended its duty-free “de minimis” threshold of US$800 for all countries, including Canada. All postal shipments to the U.S. will require prepaid duties before your package crosses the border – regardless of their value or country of origin.
Due to the U.S. Executive Order 14324, all U.S.-bound postal shipments must have duties collected at origin effective August 29, 2025. This means every package under US$800 going from Canada to the U.S. must have proof that duties were paid before the shipment can be accepted for delivery. This proof comes in the form of a Declaration ID – a 13-character code that confirms duties have been secured.”

This means that before any shipment can be done we need proof that any duty is payed
