Just assembled kit 151, but no lights

Hello, I hope someone has some hints for me.

When I turn the unit on, I get a beep, but nothing else. Not a single light anywhere on the top of the board. The power lights are lit on the various modules on the underside of the board.

I verified power and SCL and SDA to the HT16K33. The board acts dead other then the single beep when powering on.

The serial interface reports:

MeinEnigma Version: 1.10d
Checksum seems OK, (A48) keeping the values
No IC detected,assuming standalone
Version: 1.10d

So it is not finding the HT16K33 chip, but shouldn’t maybe the decimal points on the alpha-numeric displays light up at some point?

UPDATE: I found that pin one of the HT16K33 had a cold solder joint. Fixed that and all is good now!

That is good news, just hope the others have a similar issue.
What pin was it that wasn’t working_

It was pin 1, the gnd pin I believe. When I pressed on the pin with a probe to verify GND (with power off) I was closing the connection and continuity was good. I tried carefully probing it with the power on and the leds started working.
